Temple Beth Abraham welcomes the Jewish New Year with large and joyous High Holy Day services. We gather Erev Rosh Hashana, the first and second day of Rosh Hashana, Kol Nidre, and all day on Yom Kippur, after which we end with a delicious communal breaking-of-the-fast meal. With over 800 people in the room, our sanctuary is filled, including the balcony. Shofar blowing is split between a team of Ba’alei Tekiah (Shofar blowers), Hazzanit Yael Krieger prepares special music, and Rabbi Mark Bloom is known for giving his sermons entirely without notes.
Children and Youth Services are led by Rabbi Bloom and Director of Education Susan Simon. We also offer childcare with advance notice. If you are not a member, please contact the office to arrange for High Holy Day tickets.
