ADULT EDUCATION AT BETH ABRAHAM ONGOING CLASSES
Weekly Text Study with Rabbi Bloom
Every Wednesday at 9:00am for an hour. Wonderful congregants meet to read selected texts and discuss their meaning. It seems that everyone has a different background making this a very rich discussion. We are going back to meeting in person soon – watch the TBA announcements for more information.
In this class we will continue looking at the weekly parasha in order to gain different understandings of the words and their historical context.
What did the ancient sages and commentators say about the passages? Can it be applied to modern life? All skill levels, abilities and desires are welcomed.
Rosh Chodesh Celebrations
This group meets monthly on the Monday closest to the Rosh Chodesh-9:30am to 11:30am. Contact Amy Tessler at abtessler@comcast.net for locations as we meet at members’ homes on a rotating basis.
