Welcome to our Bet Sefer Avraham website where you can find answers to most of your questions, learn about our programs, and much more. Our religious school is open to all children of members of Temple Beth Abraham. Contact email@example.com to learn more about joining our wonderful community.
Our Bet Sefer calendar for the 2022-23 school year is still a work in progress. But here is a little current information.
Our first day of class will be Tuesday, August 30th. Barring a serious outbreak of COVID, that day I am planning on starting with an hour of class, a back-to-school session for parents followed by an all-school BBQ. We missed it last year but enjoyed the end of the year BBQ so I am hopeful.
Our last day of class will be Tuesday, May 9th and in the tradition of a Jewish event, we will end with more food (end of year BBQ) as well as our annual slideshow.
In between, here is our normal schedule when we meet in person:
Our Mechina (Kindergarten), Alef and Bet classes meet on Tuesdays from 4-6 pm
Our Gimmel, Dalet, Hay, and Vav classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-6 pm
Our Zayin class meets on Thursdays from 4-6 pm
Explore the links on the left side of the page to get access to our B’nai Mitzvah information, our Summery Literacy Program, and more.
And if you ever have any questions at any time, email me – I am happy to answer your questions on anything having to do with our educational program.
We have an open-door policy at our school – if you’d like to observe any classes or participate in some other way, just let me know and I will be happy to set that up for you. We always need volunteers and would welcome your involvement.
